I am interested in the transition in organic forms and the instability of colour in floral materials.

I dry natural flowers and leaves over a week or more depending on the nature and characteristics of materials. Completed dried flowers are coated with specialist resins.  Day by day, building up the depth of flowers. This coating process usually takes a month or more.

Finally these resin coated preserved flowers are assembled with metal component to form one and only jewellery. Each bloom is different, some of them may have imperfections in colour or shape.  But it is the wonder and beauty of nature. Even if the same type of flowers, it is never going to be the same.

My desire is to create wearable sculpture which is stayed on the shelf to be viewed as objects while retaining functionality of jewellery.
