The oyster shells made from preserved Hydrangea and lichen, and the mantle - inside of oyster- made from preserved Aconitum flower, on a black perspex base and board.
The oyster tightly closes. While protecting and hiding its emotions and feelings from the outside, it produces a beautiful little gem of pearl from a grain of sand which slips in shells. The oyster has a symbolic meaning of power of change, and the pearl is its 'hope' and 'triumph'.
