The insects made from preserved petals and glasses, and pomegranate made of dried pomegranate, rice, resin and plaster, on a plaster plate in a black wooden box.
Chironimidae - non biting midges - have a short life span, and adult midges live only to lay eggs.
This work indicates maternal love and celebrates it with pomegranate which symbolises 'prosperity' and 'fertility'.
